Publishing on OJS platform

The first issue of the International Journal of Chinese and English Translation & Interpreting (IJCETI) is now available online (https://ijceti.at-journals.com/ojs/index.php/description/issue/view/1). Following its launch in November 2021, we managed to publish a mix of research and reflection papers as well as two book reviews. Many authors are PhD students and early researchers working in TIS and linguistics. The topics range from technology to literary translation styles, from classroom teaching to fieldwork. With our peer-reviewed processes, these articles have reached high standards. As a result, they have attracted hundreds of viewers in a short time and some are quoted in other publications already.

IJCETI uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, a comprehensive tool for managing, ranging from submission, editorial workflow to publication online. OJS is well integrated with scholarly publishing services such as Crossref, ORCiD and DOAJ. It is recommended by Google Scholar for ease of indexing and discoverability. Now over 25,000 journals are using it worldwide, making it the most widely used open source journal publishing platform. Based on our experience, it seems that the authors have no problem making their submissions using the platform.

Thanks to the quality of the published articles, we successfully secured the ISSN number for this journal from the British Library. For each published article, a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is allocated, which provides a more stable link to the document over its lifetime.

We are now in the process of launching more new journals. If you and your colleagues wish to suggest a title or get involved in the editorial activities, you can submit your proposal to info@at-journals.com
